Responsibilities For Data Scientist

  • Perform large-scale data analysis and develop effective statistical models for segmentation, classification, optimization, and time series
  • Design and implement reporting dashboards that track key business metrics
  • Create and validate algorithm and statistical models
  • Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations and influence the direction of the business
  • Work closely with Product or Engineering and Operations Teams to proactively create rule and manage decisions
  • Prioritize leads so that the teams work on the most valuable cases
  • Make business recommendations to stake holders based on data analysis

Requirements For Data Scientist

Python
  • Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Experience performing quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets
  • Knowledge of statistical or mathematical software including R, SAS, or MATLAB
  • Experience with applied statistics or experimentation, such as A/B testing, in an industry setting
  • Experience with machine learning techniques
  • Experience with large-scale data processing infrastructures using distributed systems
  • Knowledge of quantitative analysis techniques including clustering, regression, pattern recognition, or descriptive and inferential statistics
