Developer Advocate

Meta Reality Labs (RL) is seeking an experienced Developer Advocate to join their Quest Developer Ecosystem team, focusing on the Horizon World platform. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape the future of virtual reality experiences by helping third-party developers adopt new development frameworks.

The position combines technical expertise with developer relations, requiring a deep understanding of Unity and Unreal technologies, along with excellent communication skills. As a Developer Advocate, you'll be responsible for running scaled programs in markets, recruiting and growing developer cohorts, and serving as a bridge between the developer community and Meta's internal teams.

The role offers competitive compensation ranging from $157,000 to $218,000 annually, plus bonus and equity opportunities. You'll be working with cutting-edge AR/VR technology at one of the world's leading tech companies, helping to build the next evolution in social technology beyond traditional 2D screens.

Key responsibilities include leading developer contests and hackathons, building and nurturing developer pipelines, and serving as a thought leader in the XR space. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience, strong technical knowledge of modern app development, and proven ability to manage cross-functional projects.
