Description For Device Certification Engineer Intern (BA/Masters)

Meta is seeking a Device Certification Engineer Intern to join their Regulatory and Industry Compliance & Certification team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced technologies in hardware compliance and testing at one of the world's leading tech companies.

The intern will be responsible for conducting compliance testing for hardware products, working with regulatory standards like FCC, CE, and BT-SiG. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements are met throughout the product lifecycle, maintain documentation, and contribute to process improvements.

The ideal candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with knowledge of electronic components and hardware systems. Experience with Bluetooth and WiFi technology is required, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities For Device Certification Engineer Intern (BA/Masters)

  • Assist in conducting compliance testing for hardware products against Regulatory and Industry standards (FCC, CE, BT-SiG and DOE/CEC)
  • Support the preparation and review of regulatory documents and certifications
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance-related activities and results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance requirements
  • Help organize and manage compliance lab testing schedules
  • Identify opportunities to streamline compliance processes

Requirements For Device Certification Engineer Intern (BA/Masters)

  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Working knowledge of electronic components and hardware systems
  • Experience working with Bluetooth and WiFi technology
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment
