Meta Reality Labs is at the forefront of developing next-generation Wearables and Mixed Reality (MR) products. As a Display Electrical Engineer, you'll join the Reality Labs AR display engineering organization, where you'll play a crucial role in display module electrical design, validation, and verification.
The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge AR wearable products, interfacing with product development teams and other cross-functional partners. You'll be responsible for developing leading-edge technologies and designs while working with the current and evolving ecosystem to provide differentiating capabilities to Meta's hardware platforms.
Key responsibilities include leading display module development from initial phases through mass production, authoring specifications, performing comprehensive testing and validation, and troubleshooting complex display-related issues. You'll work extensively with PCB design, including both rigid and flexible boards, and collaborate closely with supply chain teams for vendor evaluation and selection.
The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years of electrical design experience in display modules, with a strong background in display electrical subsystem design and testing. Knowledge of high-speed display electrical interfaces standards (MIPI, eDP), signal integrity, and display driver IC implementation is highly valued. Experience with EMI/ESD mitigation and proficiency in electrical engineering tools like Allegro, along with programming skills in MATLAB or Python, will be beneficial.
This role offers competitive compensation ranging from $111,000 to $164,000 annually, plus bonus and equity opportunities. You'll be part of Meta's innovative Reality Labs team, working on technology that will shape the future of human interaction and digital communication through augmented reality.
