Meta is seeking a passionate Electrical Engineer to join their Compute Hardware Design team, focusing on AI infrastructure. This role involves designing custom Accelerator modules for Meta's cutting-edge data centers that affect billions of users. The position offers a unique opportunity to work on high-power AI modules and power delivery systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and industry partners.

The role requires expertise in power electronics, specifically in developing and validating power delivery systems for AI hardware infrastructure. You'll be responsible for designing DC-DC voltage conversion technology, leading power subsystem validation, and supporting hyper-scale deployment. This position combines technical expertise with collaborative work, as you'll interact with both internal teams and the open source hardware community.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of industry experience, with a strong background in electrical engineering and power electronics. Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer, Power

  • Develop board power delivery and DC-DC voltage conversion technology
  • Specify, design, and develop power delivery and DC-DC power conversion in high-power AI modules
  • Lead the bring-up, validation of power subsystem to achieve highest efficiency, reliability, and scale-ability
  • Support hyper-scale deployment and proactively gather learning for next generation design
  • Collaborate with open source hardware community to drive innovation for large scale infrastructure

Requirements For Electrical Engineer, Power

Linux
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering Degree, with 6+ years of industry experience
  • Experience with validation and design of on-board DC-DC voltage regulators and hot-swap circuitry
  • Experience with high power and high current subsystems of CPU, GPU, SoC, ASIC and/or FPGA
  • Experience with analyzing and resolving power delivery related hardware issues
  • Familiar with schematic and PCB CAD programs
  • Experience working with peers and cross functional teams
