Responsibilities For Electrical Engineer, Reality Labs

  • Own electrical development of highly complex subsystems or moderately complex systems under technical lead direction
  • Design schematics, direct board layout, conduct design reviews and draft design documentations
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analysis to evaluate new technologies and components
  • Manage bring up and debug, support manufacturing and assembly build
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems
  • Evaluate vendor reference design and transform these into custom solutions
  • Work in distributed team environment
  • Contribute to building internal Meta community through recruitment and mentorship
  • Work autonomously and manage priorities
  • Travel both domestically and internationally

Requirements For Electrical Engineer, Reality Labs

Python
  • 4+ years of industry experience in electrical design
  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals
  • Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium or equivalent
  • Experience with oscilloscopes, high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, or function generators
  • Experience with digital signal processing, real-time image processing, display engineering, camera modules, mobile SoC and PMIC, or Battery Management System
