In this role, you'll lead the XR Eyes - Experiences team of 6-8 engineers, which is part of a larger XR Eyes team. The team's mission is to prototype delightful user experiences enabled by eye-tracking technology, develop partnerships across Reality Labs for productization of eye-tracking user experiences and deployment on Reality Labs devices, and deploy core eye tracking pipeline across Reality Labs devices.
Responsibilities:
- Prototype delightful user experiences enabled by eye-tracking technology
- Understand product strategy and drive roadmap creation
- Develop and grow a highly effective team of individual contributors
- Develop partnerships across Reality Labs for productionization of eye-tracking user experiences and deployment on Reality Labs devices
- Deploy core eye tracking pipelines across Reality Labs devices
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- 5+ years of industry experience prototyping, developing and shipping user-facing applications for AR, MR or VR devices
- 2+ years of experience managing, supporting, building and growing teams of individual contributors
- Proven track record driving project execution in ambiguous and highly complex environments
- Proven track record of building effective cross-functional collaborations
- Effective communication skills
- Coding experience in C++/C#/Rust or other high-level programming language
- Experience developing applications in Unity 3D
- Experience developing applications for Android or iOS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Prior knowledge and experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning
- Experience in developing, prototyping and shipping user interactions experiences
