Responsibilities For Front End Engineer
- Develop, design, create, modify, and/or test mobile and desktop web software applications or systems
- Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive complex web applications
- Implement features and user interfaces to optimize performance of user-facing products
- Collaborate with Product Designers, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products
- Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
- Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
Requirements For Front End Engineer
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, or related field
- Experience with building mobile and desktop web applications using JavaScript, including asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6
- Knowledge of HTML or CSS including layout, specificity, cross browser compatibility, and accessibility
- Experience with Browser APIs and optimizing front end performance of web-based applications
- Experience with front end development using React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience with debugging or benchmarking
- Experience writing code for User Interface components
- Experience with building tools, linting and formatting of the codebase
