As a Hardware Electrical Engineer on the EMG Neural WristBand Team, you'll be instrumental in designing, building, and testing prototype electrical systems for future consumer experiences within Facebook's Family of Products. The role focuses on EMG technology product development, aiming to ship world-class products at scale. The position offers a comprehensive compensation package including a base salary range of $111,000-$131,000, plus bonus and equity opportunities. The role requires a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities For Hardware Electrical Engineer (University Grad)

  • Contribute to the development of complex subsystems under technical lead direction
  • Design schematics, evaluate components, direct board layout, conduct design reviews and draft design documentations
  • Manage bring up and debug, support manufacturing and assembly build
  • Collaborate across engineering disciplines to develop systems
  • Evaluate vendor reference design and transform these into custom solutions
  • Work in distributed team environment
  • Contribute to building and sustaining internal Meta community
  • Travel both domestically and internationally

Requirements For Hardware Electrical Engineer (University Grad)

Python
  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field
  • Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals (analog)
  • Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium or equivalent
  • Experience working with oscilloscopes, high speed digital test equipment, logic analyzers, or function generators
  • Must obtain work authorization in country of employment
