Responsibilities For Hardware Thermal Engineer

  • Engage with Hardware Design team for proper thermal kit design and Data Center Operations team for product deployment
  • Develop and execute test plans to measure thermal performance/efficiency
  • Design innovative thermal cooling solutions for advanced hardware systems
  • Create analytical and numerical models using CFD tools
  • Lead external vendors including ODM and component vendors
  • Develop and publish technical papers on thermal analysis
  • Establish parameters for thermal design/testing and correlation

Requirements For Hardware Thermal Engineer

Linux
  • B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 4+ years relevant experience in thermal design
  • Experience with computational thermal simulation software
  • Experience with lab equipment for thermal validation
  • Experience in designing and optimizing thermal cooling solutions
  • Experience with 3D CAD tools for mechanical system schematics
