Network Engineer, Operations and Support

Meta is seeking a skilled Network Engineer for their Edge and Network Services (ENS) Operations organization. This role combines technical expertise in telecommunications ILA deployment with operational leadership in one of the world's largest network infrastructures.

The position involves leading critical initiatives in process optimization, automation, and data-driven decision-making to enhance network infrastructure resilience and scalability. You'll be responsible for investigating complex technical issues across global infrastructure, managing contingent workforce activities, and participating in high-level incident response.

• Leading incident response for complex technical issues across thousands of locations
• Managing and improving operational standards and compliance
• Driving automation initiatives to enhance network fault remediation
• Ensuring quality metrics and operational excellence

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience in ILA deployment and critical infrastructure operations
• Strong background in OSP and fiber operations
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance
• Experience with automation and monitoring tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
