Meta is seeking a Network Production Engineer to join their Network Infrastructure team, responsible for one of the world's largest networks. This role combines software and network engineering expertise to tackle complex technical challenges in Backbone and Datacenter Network domains.

The position offers a unique opportunity to work on infrastructure that supports billions of users across Meta's family of apps and cutting-edge AI workloads. As a Network Production Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of operating and implementing new network products that enable AI training and inference capabilities.

The role specifically focuses on Meta's server fleet connections at the NIC layer, requiring expertise in low-level systems engineering and managing a massively distributed fleet. You'll work with bleeding-edge technology developed internally at Meta to optimize server network communication stacks.

Responsibilities For Network Production Engineer

  • Conceive, develop, and deploy systems and tools to keep the network running reliably and efficiently
