Network Threat Detection Engineer

Meta is seeking a Network Threat Detection Engineer to join their team. This role involves researching and developing new solutions to protect Meta's infrastructure and users, iterating network security posture, leading network efforts to mitigate and investigate security incidents, and utilizing frameworks to develop and scale detection, mitigation, and response automation tooling. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, experience with programming languages like Python or Go, knowledge of network protocols, and experience in offensive/defensive security or systems engineering. This position offers the opportunity to work on critical network infrastructure and mentor others in security practices. The role allows for telecommuting and offers a competitive salary range of $163,289 to $200,200 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
