Strong communications and organizational skills and the ability to multitask across various disciplines and tasks are a must.
Responsibilities:
- Create power models to estimate battery day of use, power circuit design, simulation, validation, and characterization across multiple products
- Generate design documentation, guide schematic capture and power delivery network simulation
- Characterize power consumption, battery run time, battery usage impact of each NTI project
- Evaluate and enable innovative solutions for cost, size, efficiency, safety, and reliability
- Root-cause and solve technical issues during new technology development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with CM/supplier resources
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years of experience in low power design and delivery in consumer electronics
- Knowledge of power conversion characteristics and battery management systems
- Experience in PCB technologies and leading technical teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience bringing new technologies to product
- Experience with bench level power measurements and PDN/PI simulations
- 5+ years of experience in low voltage power design
- Experience with wireless charging and system integration
- MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
