Responsibilities For Production Network Engineer, Physical Infrastructure

  • Architect, design, engineer and implement scalable physical and logical datacenter infrastructure solutions
  • Research, develop, and deploy numerous technologies and network topologies
  • Work closely with hardware, software and sourcing teams, and external vendors
  • Partner with software teams to develop and implement tooling for network management
  • Manage network infrastructure design programs and documentation

Requirements For Production Network Engineer, Physical Infrastructure

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 4+ years of experience in TCP, IPv4 & IPv6, BGP and related protocols
  • 4+ years of experience in structured cabling/fiber-optic infrastructure
  • Knowledge of optical ethernet technologies and their evolution
  • Understanding of network hardware platforms and their specifications
  • Experience troubleshooting common network issues
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting clear and concise communications
  • Experience working in a multi-vendor network environment
