Meta is seeking a security engineering manager with experience investigating and analyzing cybercrime and adversarial actors to support our Child Safety and Human Exploitation team in Integrity Investigations and Intelligence (i3). This role involves supporting, developing, and scaling an investigations team to identify and respond to threats posed to Meta's users. The team investigates complex threats, scales investigative insights, and uses innovative research approaches to understand adversarial actor behaviors and deter this activity.
Responsibilities:
- Support a team of security engineers and security analysts
- Influence the organization's vision and strategy
- Coach, mentor, and support team members
- Track operational metrics and key performance indicators
- Work with internal partners to solve challenges related to threat actors
- Build relationships with internal partners
- Identify areas to scale investigations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of work experience, including technical management
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Experience in functional or scripting languages
Preferred Qualifications:
- BA/BS or Master's degree in a technical discipline
- Knowledge of child safety and/or human exploitation issues
- Experience querying large data sets and SQL
- Experience working with diverse communities and global teams
- Interest in understanding global security risks and technology
- Experience in crisis management or incident response
