Software Engineer Intern

Meta is seeking Software Engineer Interns to join their engineering team. As a Software Engineer at Meta, you'll drive the development of systems behind Meta's products, create web applications that reach billions of people, build high volume servers, and be part of a team working to help people connect globally. The internship has a minimum twelve-week duration.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop and push production-ready code
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Identify problem statements and outline optimal solutions
• Communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program (Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related field)
• Experience coding in an industry-standard language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Objective-C, JavaScript)
• Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internships, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
• Intent to return to degree program after internship completion
