Software Engineer, Pathways Program

Meta is seeking talented full-stack Software Engineers for their one-year Software Engineering Pathways Program. This program offers experienced engineers a rotation through different Meta engineering projects to develop skills and gain meaningful experiences. Successful participants will be invited to apply for a full-time position at the end of the program.

The program is open to all qualified candidates, including those from non-traditional backgrounds such as non-tech industries, self-taught programmers, career changers, and bootcamp graduates. Meta values diversity and seeks engineers from various backgrounds to reflect the communities they serve.

Responsibilities include:

• Full-stack product, systems, and mobile development using languages like C++, Java, PHP, JavaScript, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, etc.
• Collaborating with product management and UX design teams
• Designing and developing front-end interfaces, APIs, and backend systems
• Developing a strong understanding of relevant product areas, codebases, and systems
• Mastering Meta's development standards
• Consistently seeking out and giving feedback

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience building software solutions in a corporate or start-up environment
• Ability to obtain work authorization in the country of employment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience (must be completed prior to joining Meta)

The position offers a salary range of $56.25/hour to $173,000/year plus benefits. Compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
