Software Engineer (Technical Leadership) - Machine Learning

Meta is seeking an experienced Machine Learning Engineer for a technical leadership position to join their engineering team. This role combines deep technical expertise in machine learning with strategic leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate will work on some of the most exciting and massive social data and prediction problems that exist on the web, including payment fraud, click-through rate prediction, search ranking, and recommendation systems.

The position offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $213,000 to $293,000 annually, plus bonus and equity opportunities. As a technical leader, you'll be responsible for driving the team's technical direction, developing highly scalable machine learning solutions, and influencing cross-functional initiatives that have industry-wide impact.

The role requires a strong background in machine learning with at least 12 years of programming experience and 8+ years specifically in ML-related areas. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies and frameworks, adapting machine learning methods to modern parallel environments including distributed clusters, multicore SMP, and GPU systems.
