Meta is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) with experience developing server hardware development for large scale. This position will work with cross-functional teams in Meta's Infrastructure organization spanning multiple sites to support proof of concept generation, design, component selection, integration, development, and validation of new hardware products. The role focuses on next-generation servers specialized to target large volume compute and AI/ML workloads, requiring engagement with external vendors and internal engineering teams.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading technical program management of next-generation servers platform(s)
- Providing hands-on program management during all phases of development
- Owning overall program success spanning end-to-end hardware product development
- Developing and managing program requirements, scope, schedules, and deliverables
- Influencing broader roadmaps through product interception and market fit
- Engaging in product management to define product roadmaps
- Performing risk assessment, risk mitigation, and change management
- Driving internal process improvements across multiple teams and functions
- Analyzing infrastructure needs and producing hardware designs and prototypes
The ideal candidate should have:
- B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of relevant experience in software engineering, systems engineering, hardware engineering, or technical product/program management
- Experience working with technical teams to develop systems, solutions, and products
- Effective communication, organizational, coordination, and multi-tasking skills
- Analytical and problem-solving experience with systems
- Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and partners in different time zones
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of enterprise servers, hardware systems design experience, hardware project life cycle management, data center architecture experience, and experience working with ODMs and vendors.
This full-time position reports to the Group Technical Program Manager in Meta's Infrastructure Engineering organization, responsible for the growth, management, and 24x7 upkeep of all Meta's products and services.
