Description For Wireless System Validation Engineer

Responsibilities For Wireless System Validation Engineer

  • Definition and creation of verification infrastructures
  • Creation and execution, tracking of validation plans and tasks
  • Review of validation and verification plan with system, HW, RF and Antenna design teams
  • Documentation of verification and validation
  • Debugging and analysis of issues found during the verification phase
  • Review, analysis and reporting of verification results

Requirements For Wireless System Validation Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 7+ years of work experience in the wireless industry
  • Understanding of wireless communications systems and standards, including 5G-NR, 5G Redcap LTE, and connectivity technologies like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
  • Knowledge of cellular protocol stack, firmware/hardware, RF driver components with solid experience in debugging issues
  • In depth experience in analyzing logs, troubleshooting issues from field or lab for 5G, LTE and Wifi/BT
  • Understanding of system development and verification testing methods and concepts for wireless devices
  • Experience on commercial test simulators and test systems such as Anritsu, Rohde & Schwarz or Keysight call boxes for lab validation
  • Experience with managing issues coming from Interoperability Development Testing, GCF/PTCRB and Operator certification testing, field testing
