Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a passionate Architect Engineer (AE) Regional Sourcing Manager to lead their construction services supply chain across the EMEA region. This role is crucial in supporting Microsoft's massive datacenter construction projects portfolio.
The position sits within the Contracts Management team, where you'll be responsible for establishing and managing construction consultancy services relationships. You'll work with various stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies for professional services categories including Architect/Engineer, Commissioning Agents, Project Management, and Cost Management services.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in construction industry procurement, with particular emphasis on large-scale mission-critical projects valued over $100M. You'll need to demonstrate strong commercial acumen, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships.
Key aspects of the role include managing RFI/RFP processes, developing regional framework agreements, overseeing supplier performance through KPIs and SLAs, and conducting quarterly business reviews. You'll also be responsible for category management and allocation plans across the regional construction project portfolio.
