Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is seeking a Sovereign Customer Experience Engineer focusing on Billing to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial in transforming Microsoft Cloud customers into fans through deep engineering engagements. As part of Azure, Microsoft's fastest-growing business division, you'll support the Government and Sovereign space with mission-critical cloud services.

The position involves being the primary escalation support and engineering contact for Azure Subscription Management & Billing issues within the Sovereign Cloud partner ecosystem. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex technical problems, provide proactive support, and contribute to product improvements.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work with Microsoft's cutting-edge cloud technology while acting as the voice of sovereign cloud within Azure. You'll be responsible for escalating problems and driving prioritization of platform/support improvements. Responsibilities For Azure Sovereign Customer Experience Engineer - Billing

  • Develop deep understanding of partners' key solutions, workloads, and priorities on Azure
  • Take ownership of project-level Azure Subscription and Billing issues
  • Lead Azure Support team in mitigating Azure Subscription and Billing issues
  • Manage escalated partner support cases from initiation to resolution
  • Oversee root cause analyses (RCA) delivery
  • Drive product feedback and feature requests to enhance Azure resiliency

Requirements For Azure Sovereign Customer Experience Engineer - Billing

  • Bachelor's Degree with proven experience in technical support or billing support role
  • Technical understanding of commerce platform concepts and procedures
  • Technical aptitude to understand Microsoft Azure Platform and architecture
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years
  • Experience in Operations, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field (alternative)
  • Good understanding of Azure and/or compete cloud products
