Description For Cloud Solution Architect - Security & Azure

Microsoft is seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) to join their Customer Experience & Success organization, focusing on Security and Azure solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities, requiring 15+ years of industry experience and strong security knowledge.

The position involves working with SMC & Digital customers to drive their success with Microsoft technologies. As a CSA, you'll lead architectural designs, security implementations, and technical optimizations while maintaining strong customer relationships. The role demands expertise in Azure Security, Infrastructure, Identity, and various security frameworks (CIS, NIST, CSA).

Key technical areas include Azure Infrastructure, Security Solutions, Modern Work Solutions, and Application & Innovation. You'll work with technologies like Azure Kubernetes Service, DevOps, AI/ML platforms, and various security tools including Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Azure Security Center.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure. You'll need to stay current with rapidly evolving technologies while managing multiple customer engagements. The role offers the flexibility of 100% remote work, though some travel may be required.

  • Drive customer transformation and own customer engagements
  • Lead architectural design sessions and implementation
  • Provide technical leadership in Security and Azure solutions
  • Drive positive Customer Satisfaction & become a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate with other Cloud Solution Architects and stakeholders
  • Lead architecture design, resiliency reviews, and technical optimization
  • Provide feedback & insights from customers/partners

Requirements For Cloud Solution Architect - Security & Azure

Kubernetes

  • 15+ years of relevant industry experience in technical roles
  • Fluent in Japanese, Mandarin strongly recommended
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Strong security expertise across cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
  • Experience with Azure Security, Infrastructure, and Identity
  • Security certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience working with C-level executives
