Description For Critical Environment (CE) Electrical Engineer

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Critical Environment (CE) Electrical Engineer to join their team in Quebec City. This role is crucial in powering Microsoft's cloud services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform.

The position involves managing electrical infrastructures across datacenter campuses, ranging from single large-capacity facilities to multiple smaller ones. You'll be responsible for testing and validating electrical systems, creating scalable designs, and performing regular maintenance and inspections.

The ideal candidate will have either a Master's degree with 1+ year of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related fields. The role requires obtaining security clearances including Microsoft Cloud Background Check and Government of Canada Reliability Status screening.

Requirements For Critical Environment (CE) Electrical Engineer

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Must obtain Reliability Status screening from Government of Canada
  • Must have stable residency history
