Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Critical Environment Electrical Engineer to join their team. CO+I is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services, managing a vast infrastructure of over 200 datacenters across 32 countries. This role is crucial in maintaining and operating the electrical systems that support Microsoft's global cloud infrastructure serving more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide.

Responsibilities For Critical Environment Electrical Engineer

  • Act as technical authority for on-site operations related to large-scale mission critical electrical system
  • Manage electrical infrastructures throughout datacenter campus
  • Work with commissioning teams to test and validate installation
  • Establish and coordinate maintenance and safety procedures
  • Support 24x7x365 on-site datacenters operations
  • Empower culture of safety, security, and compliance
  • Work cross-functionally to maximize business results

Requirements For Critical Environment Electrical Engineer

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience
  • OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS)
  • Strong leadership competencies
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with high integrity
