Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team is seeking a Critical Environment Electrical Engineer to join their world-class infrastructure team. This role is integral to supporting Microsoft's vast network of over 200 datacenters across 32 countries, serving more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to work on core infrastructure and foundational technologies supporting major Microsoft services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. The role combines technical expertise in electrical engineering with practical applications in cloud infrastructure.

As a Critical Environment Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing electrical engineering solutions, developing and executing test plans, and contributing to product development.   • Develop knowledge of industry trends and competitors' products
  • Create and execute robust, scalable designs for electrical engineering features
  • Participate in creating intellectual property and patent filing

Requirements For Critical Environment Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 1+ years technical engineering experience with Master's or 2+ years with Bachelor's
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
