Description For Critical Environment Electrical Engineering

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Critical Environment Electrical Engineer to join their team responsible for powering cloud services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. This role is crucial in maintaining and developing the infrastructure across Microsoft's global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters in 32 countries.

The position offers an opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure that supports services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses worldwide. The role combines electrical engineering expertise with critical environment management, focusing on environmental sustainability and optimization in datacenter design and operations.

As a Critical Environment Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing scalable electrical engineering solutions, participating in design documentation, and ensuring robust testing and verification processes. Requirements For Critical Environment Electrical Engineering

  • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience
  • Experience in Data Center or critical environments
  • Experience with power distribution systems
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
