This role is crucial in maintaining and operating Microsoft's vast infrastructure of over 100 datacenters and 1 million servers worldwide, supporting services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses across 90+ countries.

Responsibilities For Critical Environment Field Service Engineer
- Ensure compliance with data center business units and service-level policies
- Maximize Critical Environment (CE) availability in leased Datacenters
- Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Reduce high-impact and human-error Critical Environment incidents
- Support Datacenter's Emergency Preparedness and Response plans
- Coordinate and supervise CE audits and compliance verification
- Manage and analyze Power/Temperature/Relative Humidity and SLA monitoring
- Work with regional and global peers to share best practices
- Provide mentorship across data centers
Requirements For Critical Environment Field Service Engineer
- High School Diploma or equivalent AND industry experience in a datacenter or critical environment facility
- Experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (UPS, Generator, AHU)
- Experience working on large scale Critical Environment projects
- Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
