This role is crucial in maintaining and managing the infrastructure that powers Microsoft's global cloud services including Azure, Office 365, Xbox, and more. Responsibilities For Critical Environment Instrumentation Engineer

  • Maintaining ICS availability, data quality, service and change management
  • Site level ICS program and project management
  • Managing Microsoft's electrical and mechanical industrial control systems
  • Governing logical and physical access to ICS systems
  • Empowering a culture of safety and security in datacenter operations
  • Developing positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements For Critical Environment Instrumentation Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 2+ years technical experience
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Experience with Industrial Controls Systems (ICS)
  • Knowledge of construction techniques and blueprint interpretation
  • Experience with building electrical and mechanical systems
  • Project management experience with agile methodologies
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent mission-critical infrastructure projects
