Description For Critical Environment Technician Manager

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) division is seeking a Critical Environment Technician Manager to join their data center operations team. This role is crucial in maintaining and managing the infrastructure that powers Microsoft's cloud services including Azure, Office 365, Xbox, and more. The position involves leading a team of technicians while ensuring the reliable operation of critical data center systems.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in mission-critical environments, with the ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle complex technical challenges. You'll be responsible for managing both people and critical infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance of data center operations while developing and mentoring your team.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 3+ years mission-critical services work experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Physical requirements include climbing ladders, frequent stair climbing, prolonged standing
  • Normal visual acuity and color vision required
