Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) division is seeking a Critical Environment Technician Manager to play a crucial role in maintaining and operating their global datacenter infrastructure. This position combines technical expertise with people management, overseeing critical facility operations that support Microsoft's cloud services including Azure, Office 365, Xbox, and more.

The role requires a strong background in mission-critical environments, with responsibilities spanning equipment operations, maintenance, and emergency response. You'll lead a team of technicians while serving as a subject matter expert in areas such as electrical, mechanical, or controls systems. Responsibilities For Critical Environment Technician Manager

  • Manage and lead team members in critical environment operations
  • Oversee equipment and systems operations across electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines
  • Monitor and maintain critical facility equipment and systems
  • Lead incident response teams and manage emergency situations
  • Perform and oversee complex maintenance tasks and repairs
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors
  • Develop and maintain operating procedures and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security requirements

Requirements For Critical Environment Technician Manager

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND 3+ years mission-critical services work experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
  • Citizenship verification required
