Critical Infrastructure Network Engineer

Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking a Critical Infrastructure Network Engineer to join their APAC team. This role is crucial in supporting Microsoft's mission to deliver reliable and scalable cloud services across Asia and Pacific regions.

The position involves developing and implementing scalable network designs, leading architecture reviews, and ensuring high performance and security requirements are met. You'll be working with Microsoft's massive infrastructure spanning 200+ datacenters in 32 countries, serving over 1 billion customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing scalable network designs and implementations
• Leading cross-functional architecture reviews
• Supporting datacenter and network site development
• Driving automation through DevOps practices
• Analyzing incident data and traffic trends
• Participating in 24/7 operational support rotation

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of technical experience in network design and automation, or relevant educational background with some experience. Strong knowledge of cloud-scale networking, security practices, and automation tools is essential.
