Responsibilities For Customer Engineer II

  • Engage with Azure developers and IT professionals in Azure communities
  • Submit pull requests to fix bugs and implement new features on Azure SDK repos
  • Build prototype tools and models to analyze community data
  • Act as customer advocate and report areas for improvement
  • Build and update Azure product documentation
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams on customer-impacting issues
  • Create and optimize solutions using Azure Data Engineering tools
  • Implement automation initiatives to improve efficiency
  • Mentor peers and contractors in technical areas
  • Analyze community data to derive actionable insights

Requirements For Customer Engineer II

Python
  • 8-10+ years overall experience with 3-4+ years in Azure Data Engineering
  • Intermediate or above experience with Azure Data Factory
  • Intermediate or above experience with Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Intermediate or above experience with Azure Databricks
  • Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of Azure Event Hub
  • Beginner to Intermediate knowledge of Azure Purview
  • Intermediate or above ETL experience
  • Intermediate or above SQL skills
  • Intermediate or above PySpark skills
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities and self-starter attitude
