Description For Customer Experience Engineering

Microsoft's Azure Customer Experience (CXP) team is seeking a customer-focused Advanced Cloud Engineer to join their ACES Strategic team. This role is crucial in providing engineering-led support for strategic Azure customers, focusing on incident management, problem resolution, and customer empowerment. The position offers up to 100% remote work flexibility and involves partnering with Customer Success Account Managers, Cloud Solution Architects, and Technical Support Engineers.

As an Advanced Cloud Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving problem resolution, supporting customer projects on Azure, and being the voice of the customer within Azure. The role requires strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience with cloud computing technologies, and a customer-obsessed mindset. You'll work in a diverse and inclusive environment that values authentic expression and career growth.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $81,900 to $160,200 (higher in SF and NYC areas), along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave. Responsibilities For Customer Experience Engineering

  • Track customer incidents and engage with customers and partners
  • Troubleshoot using diagnostics and communicate progress
  • Gather feedback from customers and partners
  • Support team members in implementing automation solutions
  • Conduct root cause analysis of issues
  • Partner with other teams to review and unblock customer incidents
  • Work with customers to gather input on their experiences

Requirements For Customer Experience Engineering

  • 1+ year(s) of software industry experience related to technology OR equivalent experience
  • 1 year of demonstrated IT experience troubleshooting issues and driving technical resolutions
  • Experience working on cloud computing technologies preferably Azure
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
