This role offers a unique opportunity to manage strategic growth initiatives, alliance formations, and ecosystem development while pioneering customer engagements in AI and ML solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Science/AI/ML development
  • Strong skills in designing and developing AI solutions in cloud environments
  • Experience with ML frameworks like scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow
  • Proficiency in cloud tools such as AzureML, Azure AI Platform, and Databricks
  • Knowledge of Natural Language Processing, Foundation Models, and various ML techniques

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable, cloud-native AI/ML products
  • Translating business requirements into AI architectures
  • Mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration
  • Rapid development of Proof of Concepts with emerging AI technologies

The role involves up to 50% work from home, with 0-25% travel, including regular visits to the Microsoft AI Co-Innovation Lab in Wisconsin. The position offers a competitive salary range of $117,200 - $229,200 per year, with higher ranges for specific locations like the San Francisco Bay area and New York City.

Responsibilities For Customer Solutions Architect

  • Elicit, design, and develop scalable, reliable, cloud-native AI/ML products
  • Perform hypothesis testing, evidence-based statistical & stochastic modeling, analysis & insights
  • Apply best practices of cloud-native AI/ML model development
  • Write performance & cost-efficient modular code
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present technical vision and solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team
  • Rapid agility with Proof of Concepts, especially with emerging technologies in AI and ML

Requirements For Customer Solutions Architect

Python
Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field AND 4+ years experience in technical program/product management, coding, software development/delivery work
  • 2+ years of customer-facing experience
  • 4+ years of experience designing and developing AI solutions in cloud environments
  • Experience with ML/Data Science frameworks and toolkits such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV, Keras, TensorFlow, and/or Matplotlib
  • Experience in Data Science/AI/ML development, with a proven track record of delivering highly scalable, observable, and secure AI products
  • Experience architecting Data/AI/ML solutions
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing, Traditional & Foundation Models (LLM, SLM), Vector Databases, Retrieval Augmented Generation
  • Experience developing solutions in the cloud using tools such as AzureML, Azure AI Platform, Databricks, and/or Azure Cognitive Services
