Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is seeking an Industrial Control Systems Engineer to join their dynamic team supporting mission-critical datacenters. Responsibilities For Industrial Control Systems Engineer

  • Maintaining ICS (BAS/BMS/EPMS) availability, data quality, service and change management, reporting, and security of all ICS systems in Data Centers
  • Site level ICS program and project management, and execution of global initiatives related to ICS systems
  • Managing Microsoft's electrical and mechanical industrial control systems including servers, applications, networks, and device infrastructure
  • Governing logical and physical access, approval, and permissions related to all ICS systems
  • Empowering a culture of safety and security in global datacenter operations
  • Developing positive working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders

Requirements For Industrial Control Systems Engineer

Linux
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with technical experience
  • Experience in software engineering, network engineering, service engineering, or systems engineering
  • Knowledge of Industrial Controls Systems (ICS) in datacenter environments
  • Experience with Modbus and BACnet protocols
  • Understanding of building electrical and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings
  • Project management experience with agile methodologies
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
