Responsibilities For Mechanical Engineer - Data Centre

  • Empower a culture of safety, security, and compliance in data center activities
  • Understand the design and functionality of datacenter
  • Support 24x7x365 on-site datacenter operations and mechanical infrastructures
  • Act as technical authority for on-site operations of large-scale mechanical systems and designs
  • Collaborate with Operations and Design team for data center mechanical designs
  • Establish and coordinate maintenance & safety procedures
  • Steward vital infrastructure supporting Microsoft's online services
  • Assist with supplier selection and overseeing mechanical supplier execution

Requirements For Mechanical Engineer - Data Centre

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with 2+ years experience, OR
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 1+ years experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Pass Microsoft Cloud background check
  • May require NV1/2, PV Clearance Assessment
