Description For MECM Technical Support Engineer

Microsoft's Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) organization is seeking a MECM Technical Support Engineer to join their Customer Service & Support (CSS) team. The position offers a hybrid work environment with up to 50% work from home flexibility and requires 0-25% travel. Responsibilities For MECM Technical Support Engineer

  • Own, investigate and solve customer technical issues
  • Collaborate within and across teams using troubleshooting tools and practices
  • Lead or participate in building communities with peer delivery roles
  • Develop specific technical and professional proficiency
  • Identify potential product defects and escalate appropriately

Requirements For MECM Technical Support Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND experience in technical support
  • Experience in WSUS, SMS, SCCM 2007/2012 and Microsoft Intune
  • Knowledge of Operating Systems Concepts - Active Directory, Security, OS Internals
  • Understanding of Networking concepts - DNS, protocols, Devices
  • IIS Concepts - Configuration, ISAPI, Architecture, SSL and Kerberos
  • Basic debugging skills
  • Basic SQL Server Administration concepts
  • Fluency in French, German, or Spanish
  • Confident English proficiency
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check
