Member of Technical Staff - Backend Growth Engineer

Microsoft AI (MAI) is seeking a talented Backend Growth Engineer to join their team and help shape the future of their personalized AI assistant, Copilot. The position requires a seasoned professional with 6+ years of technical engineering experience, particularly in building mobile app backend applications and distributed systems at scale. As a Backend Growth Engineer, you'll be responsible for driving user acquisition, engagement, and retention through technical innovations. You'll work in a collaborative environment, partnering with iOS and Android engineers, Product Managers, data scientists, and marketing teams to deliver impactful results. The role involves optimizing onboarding flows, improving product features, and building scalable infrastructure.
