Member of Technical Staff - Data Engineer

Microsoft AI (MS AI) is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to help build the next wave of capabilities for their personal AI, Copilot. This role is part of Microsoft's ambitious vision to build systems with true artificial intelligence across agents, applications, services, and infrastructure. The Data Engineering team is responsible for building data platforms that support finetuning and deploying the core Copilot experience.

The ideal candidate will combine technical prowess with a methodical approach to problem-solving, bringing expertise in data technologies and solution architecture. Working in a hybrid environment across major tech hubs (New York, San Francisco Bay Area, or Seattle), you'll collaborate with Product Management, Design, and AI Research teams to shape the future of AI accessibility.

This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $153,600 to $294,000 in premium markets, along with comprehensive benefits. The role requires strong technical skills in data warehouse systems, cloud infrastructure, and database management, while emphasizing collaboration and communication abilities.
