Description For Member of Technical Staff - Growth Web Engineer

Microsoft AI is seeking a talented Growth Web Engineer to join their team working on Copilot, Microsoft's personalized AI assistant. This role sits within the newly formed Microsoft AI (MAI) organization, which is dedicated to advancing consumer AI products and research. The Growth engineering team focuses on user acquisition, engagement, and retention while collaborating across Product Management, Design, Data Science, and AI Research teams.

The ideal candidate will bring positive energy, empathy, and technical excellence to build world-class consumer experiences in a fast-paced environment. You'll be working on Copilot, Bing, Edge, and generative AI research, helping shape the future of personal computing. The position requires hybrid work (3 days in office) in Mountain View, CA, with occasional travel (0-25%).

As a Growth Web Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing and optimizing web applications that drive user growth and engagement. The role combines technical expertise in frontend development with a data-driven approach to product improvement. You'll work with modern technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results.

Requirements For Member of Technical Staff - Growth Web Engineer

  • Data-driven approach with demonstrated success in driving key growth metrics
