Description For Member of Technical Staff, High Performance Computing Engineer

Microsoft AI is seeking an experienced High Performance Computing Engineer to join their innovative team working on Copilot, their cutting-edge personal AI assistant. This role presents a unique opportunity to work with some of the world's largest supercomputers and contribute to the evolution of AI technology.

The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, requiring 3 days per week in office, and offers a competitive salary range of $153,600 - $250,200 per year. As a member of the Microsoft AI team, you'll be at the forefront of developing APIs that enhance Copilot's core functionalities, working closely with Product Management, Design, and AI Research teams.

The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of experience in high-scale training clusters, cloud infrastructure, and web services development. You'll need expertise in languages like Python, C#, C++, Rust, and Java, along with experience in frameworks such as NVIDIA InfiniBand clusters, SLURM, and Kubernetes.
