Microsoft AI (MS AI) is seeking experienced Infrastructure Engineers to join their team working on Copilot, their personal AI assistant. This role focuses on building APIs that support finetuning and deploying core Copilot experiences. The position requires technical expertise in backend technologies, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on AI and machine learning capabilities. The ideal candidate will combine technical prowess with collaborative skills, working in a fast-paced environment alongside Product Management, Design, and AI Research teams. Requirements For Member of Technical Staff, Infrastructure Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline
  • 4+ years technical engineering experience building web services
  • 4+ years experience building scalable services on public cloud infrastructure
  • 4+ years experience using container orchestration technologies
  • 4+ years experience building distributed systems at scale
  • Experience with AI platforms, frameworks, and APIs
  • Experience with Machine Learning frameworks and language learning models
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
