Member of Technical Staff, Platform Engineer

Microsoft AI (MAI) is seeking experienced Platform Engineers to help build the next generation of capabilities for their personal AI, Copilot. This role sits at the intersection of AI innovation and platform engineering, focusing on building secure and scalable services that power Microsoft's AI initiatives. As a Staff Software Engineer, you'll be working with cutting-edge AI technologies while building the infrastructure that supports Microsoft's ambitious AI vision.

The position requires a blend of deep technical expertise in distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI/ML technologies, combined with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. You'll be responsible for architecting and implementing APIs that support the core experience of Copilot, working closely with Product Management, Design, and AI Research teams.

The role offers a competitive compensation package, with base pay ranging from $137,600 to $267,000 per year, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare, educational resources, and parental leave.
