Description For Member of Technical Staff - Windows Engineer

Microsoft AI (MAI) is seeking experienced Windows Engineers to join their team building next-generation capabilities for Copilot on Windows. This role is part of a newly formed organization dedicated to advancing AI products and research, including Copilot, Bing, Edge, and generative AI research. The position requires working in a hybrid environment (3 days in office) in either Redmond, WA or San Francisco Bay Area.

The Windows Copilot team focuses on creating experiences that showcase AI's potential in Windows, large screens, and productivity scenarios. As a Windows Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions while collaborating with Platform, Product Management, Design, and Research teams.

The role demands strong technical expertise in Windows development, including Windows Internals, UI, COM, and Win32/Shell. You'll need to demonstrate proficiency in languages like Python, C#, C++, and .NET, while maintaining a focus on security, performance, and user experience.
