Description For Principal Applied Scientist, Advertiser Copilot

Microsoft is seeking a Principal Applied Scientist to lead the development of the Copilot Chat Assistant for their Advertising Platform. This role focuses on building an AI Companion that helps advertisers optimize their campaigns and generate high-performing creatives. The position involves working with cutting-edge Generative AI technology, including LLMs, agentic frameworks, and RAG systems.

The successful candidate will lead a team of engineers and applied scientists, working directly on systems that impact Microsoft Ads' topline revenue metrics. The role requires deep expertise in machine learning, particularly in building production systems, and extensive experience with Large Language Models and related technologies.

  • Stay up to date on the latest advances in Large Language Models (LLMs)
