Responsibilities For Principal Security Engineering Manager

  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of 4-7 individuals to implement and uphold security engineering principles
  • Conduct targeted security reviews and threat models to identify known and unknown vulnerabilities and weaknesses
  • Conduct emerging Threat and Vulnerability Research
  • Identify and evaluate new areas for research, perform analysis into emerging threats
  • Create a learning and sharing environment along with drive to improve the existing state
  • Lead planning and execution with internal engineering teams, business partners and technical leaders
  • Proactive identification and reduction of Security issues through design, testing, and implementation
  • Ability to work as part of an on-call rotation and to contribute to multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements For Principal Security Engineering Manager

  • 7+ years experience in software development lifecycle, large scale computing, cyber security, anomaly detection
  • Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Risk Management, Cyber Security, or related field
  • 1+ year(s) people management
  • 5+ years experience with Cyber Security and/or operating in a hyper-scale cloud environment
  • 2+ years leadership experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Azure Fabric architecture
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
  • U.S. citizenship verification required
