Description For Principal Technical Program Manager

Microsoft Security is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager for their Security Copilot initiative, which leverages generative AI to enhance security defense capabilities. Responsibilities For Principal Technical Program Manager

  • Drive successful execution of technical programs aligned with organizational goals
  • Work with cross-functional teams to align strategies and objectives
  • Identify and manage potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Oversee COGS analysis, reporting, and optimization
  • Manage cloud resource allocation and capacity planning
  • Stay current with industry trends and enhance TPM processes

Requirements For Principal Technical Program Manager

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
  • Ability to demonstrate technical acumen and communicate complex technical concepts
  • 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud background check
  • Experience reading and/or writing code
  • Experience working with Security and/or Generative AI technology
  • Experience working on platform teams with API development
  • Experience in business and operational roles with complex budgeting
