Responsibilities For Security Operations Engineer

  • Analyze security alerts and incidents to determine their impact and scope
  • Respond to security incidents, ensuring appropriate containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
  • Document and report on incident findings
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams
  • Serve as primary point of contact during security incidents
  • Prepare and deliver incident reports to stakeholders
  • Participate in post-incident reviews
  • Identify gaps in security controls
  • Conduct training and awareness sessions
  • Monitor threat intelligence feeds
  • Proactively hunt for indicators of compromise (IOCs)

Requirements For Security Operations Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
  • At least 1 year experience in cyber security and threat intelligence
  • Experience in security operations role
  • Strong understanding of incident response and threat intelligence
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving and analytical skills
